General Trade-In Terms and Conditions for Drones

1. Device Eligibility
The drone is only eligible for trade-in if the model is explicitly listed on the list of eligible devices, published on our website or made available upon request. 
2. Condition of the Device
The drone being traded in must be in the following minimum condition:​

• Functioning: The drone must be able to power on normally, and all basic functions (such as flight control, GPS, and camera) must operate correctly.
• Physically Intact: No broken parts, cracks in the frame or propellers, or visible damage that affects functionality. 
• No Water Damage: Drones with visible signs of water damage or corrosion will not be accepted, unless explicitly agreed otherwise. 
• Original Parts: Any replacement parts must be supplied by authorized service partners or original manufacturers.  

3. Data Removal and Software
The customer is required to remove all personal data and software from the drone prior to trade-in. We are not responsible for any remaining data, sensitive information, or privacy breaches resulting from an incomplete reset. 
4. Deactivation of Location Lock or User Account
If the drone is linked to a user account (such as DJI Fly, Autel, Parrot Cloud, etc.), this link must be fully removed. Drones with an active “Find My Drone,” binding registration, or firmware lock will not be accepted for trade-in. 
5. Proof of Ownership and Legality 
The customer declares that they are the legal owner of the drone and that the device is free of any liens, lease agreements, or third-party claims. Proof of purchase or a declaration of ownership may be requested. 
6. Accessories and Components 
The following original components must be included with the trade-in, unless otherwise agreed:​

• Battery (at least one functioning unit)
• Charger
• Remote controller
• Propellers (at least one complete set)

Missing components may result in a reduced trade-in value or rejection of the trade-in.
7. Assessment and Valuation 
The trade-in value is determined based on:​

• Brand and model
• Age of the device
• Technical and cosmetic condition
• Completeness of accessories
• Current market value

The assessment is done on-site or after inspection. An initial online estimate is non-binding.
We reserve the right to reject the device or assign a lower value if discrepancies are found. 
8. Liability
Once the drone is accepted, the trade-in party assumes full ownership and responsibility. Until the moment of transfer, the device remains the property of the customer. 
9. Irreversibility 
After the final agreement on the trade-in value and transfer of the device, the transaction is irrevocable. There is no right of withdrawal. 
10. Applicable Law 
These terms are governed exclusively by Belgian law. In case of disputes, only the courts of the district where the company is established have jurisdiction.​
