The DJI Matrice 400 represents the flagship of enterprise drone platforms, delivering exceptional performance with an impressive 59-minute flight time and a payload capacity of up to 6 kg. Equipped with integrated rotating LiDAR and millimeter-wave radar, it provides highly precise obstacle detection—even identifying fine structures such as power lines. Combined with O4 Enterprise Enhanced Video Transmission and Airborne Relay Video Transmission, the Matrice 400 enables safer, more reliable, and more efficient operations in the most demanding environments.

Advanced Intelligence for Complex Missions Featuring powerful capabilities such as Smart Detection, visible and thermal imaging, AR projection, vessel-based takeoff and landing, and advanced automation, the DJI Matrice 400 is engineered for demanding professional operations. Its versatility makes it ideally suited for emergency response, power grid inspections, mapping and surveying, and projects across the construction, architecture, and engineering (AEC) sectors, delivering reliable performance and actionable data in the most challenging environments.

The Matrice 400 features four external E-Port V2 interfaces, enabling the simultaneous integration of up to seven payloads. With a maximum payload capacity of 6 kg, the platform offers exceptional flexibility for complex missions. The system supports multiple configurations, including a single downward gimbal or a dual downward gimbal setup, and is compatible with an additional gimbal connector mounted underneath the aircraft. The Matrice 400 supports both DJI and third-party payloads, including:
  • Zenmuse H30 Series: A robust multi-sensor payload designed for day and night operations. It integrates five key modules in a single system: a wide-angle camera, a high-performance zoom camera, an infrared thermal camera, a laser rangefinder, and a near-infrared (NIR) auxiliary light, enabling precise situational awareness and reliable data capture in even the most demanding environments.

  • Zenmuse L2: The Zenmuse L2 delivers highly accurate, efficient, and reliable geospatial data for DJI flight platforms. It integrates frame-based LiDAR technology, a self-developed high-precision IMU system, and a 4/3 CMOS RGB mapping camera, enabling precise 3D data capture and high-quality mapping for surveying, infrastructure inspection, and environmental monitoring.

  • Zenmuse P1: The Zenmuse P1 is purpose-built for high-precision photogrammetry missions. It combines a full-frame sensor with interchangeable fixed-focus lenses, mounted on a 3-axis stabilized gimbal. This configuration enables the capture of high-resolution imagery and highly accurate geospatial data, making it ideal for mapping, surveying, and large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Zenmuse S1: The Zenmuse S1 is DJI’s first multi-payload drone spotlight, engineered to deliver powerful illumination for demanding aerial operations. Using advanced LEP (Laser Excited Phosphor) technology, it provides exceptional brightness, extended range, and multiple lighting modes. This enables reliable visibility for night operations such as search and rescue, security missions, and infrastructure inspections.

  • Zenmuse V1: The Zenmuse V1 is DJI’s first speaker designed for multi-payload drone platforms. It delivers powerful, long-range audio transmission and supports multiple broadcast modes, enabling clear communication during operations. The system is ideal for public safety missions, emergency response, crowd management, and search and rescue, allowing operators to deliver instructions or alerts effectively from the air.

  • Manifold 3: The Manifold 3 is a powerful embedded computer designed to enhance onboard data processing and mission control. It optimizes the coordination between flight control, gimbal operation, and camera systems, enabling advanced computing directly on the drone. With its high-performance processing capabilities, the Manifold 3 significantly improves efficiency for complex operational missions such as AI-powered inspections, autonomous workflows, and real-time data analysis.

Ultra-Intelligent and Highly Efficient: Automated Operations

The Matrice 400 is equipped with advanced intelligent features that enable more efficient and largely automated operations.

  • Smart Detection identifies vehicles, vessels, and people during search and rescue operations or routine flights—even when operating in thermal mode.
  • Smart AR Projection helps pilots maintain situational awareness in challenging environments through the remote controller interface. For example, when the obstacle detection system identifies high-voltage power lines, Power Line AR clearly projects them onto the controller’s screen, allowing pilots to navigate more safely and confidently.
  • With Map View AR, buildings and landmarks can be identified in real time, while major roads are highlighted with clearly visible lines.

  • Real-Time Terrain Follow ensures the aircraft maintains a constant altitude relative to the ground, regardless of flight direction, which is particularly useful in hilly or uneven terrain.​













New accessories for efficiency and adaptability.


The Matrice 4 Series enhances accessories for more efficient and adaptable operations. The DJI AL1 SpotLight can clearly illuminate subjects from up to 100 meters away and supports both continuous and strobe modes. It also offers improved coverage in wide-angle modes. Meanwhile, the DJI AS1 Speaker delivers powerful sound, with broadcasts reaching up to 300 meters and a range of 114 decibels at 1 meter.

The D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station supports drones with centimeter-level positioning accuracy, extends image transmission via signal relays at higher altitudes, and facilitates high-precision data collection in network-free areas. It can also be used to mark ground control points.
