Description:

The DJI Matrice 30T cleverly combines the functionality of the Matrice 300 with the compact, foldable design of the Mavic 3. The M30T offers:

  • Thermal camera
  • A 12-megapixel wide-angle camera
  • A 48-megapixel zoom camera with 16x optical zoom
  • A laser rangefinder with a range of 1200 meters
  • A flight time of 41 minutes, IP55 classification, and resistance to wind speeds of up to 15 m/s
  • An RC Plus remote control with a built-in 7-inch screen

DJI MATRICE 30T:

The DJI M30T is equipped with a powerful set of sensors comparable to those of the H20 camera. It features a 48-megapixel zoom camera with 16x optical zoom and 200x digital zoom, alongside a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera. The laser rangefinder with a range of 1200 meters is also familiar from the DJI Zenmuse H20 camera. Despite the sensors being comparable to those of the H20, the M30T has become significantly smaller and lighter, from 828 grams for the H20T to 320 grams for the M30T camera. This was made possible by relocating the ISP (Image Signal Processing) Chip from the gimbal to the interior of the Matrice 30T drone. This allowed the camera to be significantly reduced in size, although it also meant that no fewer than 96 cables had to be routed through a 6 mm hole to transport all the sensors and images from the gimbal to the ISP. Solving this challenge is one of the reasons why the DJI M30T has become so compact.

A ROBUST PLATFORM:

The DJI Matrice 30T can be seen as the compact sibling of the Matrice 300. Despite its smaller size, the DJI M30T is an extremely powerful and reliable platform. With an IP55 rating, the M30T can withstand extreme weather conditions. The device is usable in temperatures ranging from -20 to +50 degrees Celsius and can withstand wind speeds of up to 15 m/s. The maximum speed is 23 m/s. The M30T is equipped with various (redundant) sensors, including an FPV camera with a special low-light mode for orientation in low-light conditions. Like the Matrice 350, the DJI M30T features obstacle detection on all sides, redundant sensors and backup systems, and can perform a three-propeller emergency landing. With four antennas and the OccuSync 3 video protocol, the connection remains stable under all conditions.

FOLDABLE DESIGN:

The DJI Matrice 30T has a compact design that is easy to fold. The arms can be folded using a Quick Release system and automatically click into place when unfolded. To fold them back, you only need to press the locking mechanism on the arm. As for the landing gear, the DJI M30T closely resembles that of a Mavic. The camera is mounted on the front instead of underneath the drone, and the M30T lands on small feet on the bottom. This also saves an additional step in preparing the M30T, making it ready to fly in less than a minute!

TB30 BATTERIES:

The DJI Matrice 30T uses a new type of battery: the DJI TB30. By using two TB30 batteries simultaneously, the DJI M30T is not only redundant in terms of battery power, but the batteries can also be 'hot-swapped'. This means you can replace the batteries one by one with a new set without having to restart the M30T. These batteries are also made of a new chemical composition called Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide, which ensures that the TB30 batteries last for at least 400 cycles. With a set of two TB30 batteries, the DJI M30T can fly for up to 41 minutes.

DATA SECURITY:

The DJI Matrice 30T has adopted many data security features from the Matrice 300. For example, the DJI M30T can install updates offline without requiring an internet connection. Also, the Local Data Mode and the ability to encrypt the SD card are built into the DJI M30T as standard.

DJI RC PLUS:

With the introduction of the DJI Matrice 30T, a new remote control has also been released: the DJI RC Plus. This remote control is specially designed for demanding pilots. The DJI RC Plus features a 7-inch touchscreen with a brightness of up to 1200 Nits, ensuring the screen is always readable even in bright sunlight. It is also the first DJI remote control with an IP rating, allowing it to be used without any problems in all weather conditions, even in the rain. In addition to the standard buttons such as joysticks and camera dials, there are six buttons placed next to the screen that can be assigned to various functions. This allows you to set shortcuts for functions such as switching between cameras, settings, or displaying the map without touching the screen. Like the DJI Smart Controller Enterprise, the DJI RC Plus is powered by a WB37 battery. Additionally, the RC Plus has a built-in battery, allowing the WB37 to be easily swapped during flight. In terms of connections, the DJI RC Plus features Micro SD, USB,
